Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer  is a North American nation–American animated Christmas television movie, directed aside Phil Roman, that was inaugural released on direct-to-picture in October 31, 2000 by Warner House Media, then premiered on The WB in December 21, 2000. It is supported the novelty song with the equivalent style written by Randy Brooks and performed for the first time past Elmo & Patsy in 1979.

Plot

A young embarks on a journey to find his nonexistent grandmother and prove that Santa Claus is real.

Why It Should Have Gotten Head for the hills Concluded by a Reindeer More Than Grandma

  1. The title itself is idiotic and nonsensical, and it doesn't sound fine for a family-oriented Noel take. (Although the picture is based off of a strain)
  2. Most of this doesn't find like an actual movie. IT feels Sir Thomas More the like a TV especial because it is only 50 minutes long.
  3. Ridiculously dumb and poorly executed story.
  4. Tedious and annoying songs that don't need to be in the movie at all.
  5. The life looks poorly made, even in the time it was free.
  6. Overused of holiday clichés.
  7. Laughably bad names much every bit "Spankenheimer", and "Cityville".
  8. Tons of awkward moments.
  9. Clichéd and dumb characters.
  10. Whenever the main character Jake wears his jacket, he ever has his Pyjama on underneath, especially in the same scenes where he wears normal clothes.
  11. The transitions to the songs are uproariously bad, like how Cousin Mel and Grandpa are talking more or less sign language the contract and out of literally nowhere, Grandad starts singing.
  12. Zero one other than Jake, peculiarly Grandpa, shows bear on that Grandmother is missing.
  13. The character designs are equally generic as they can get, so a great deal so that they could very well be mistaken for background characters than the stars of the show.
  14. When Jake is relation everybody most Grandma's sleigh chance event with Santa Claus, he mentions that Rudolph was powerful near Grandmother A she was walking even though Rudolph wasn't seen with any of Santa's caribou in the photographic film.
  15. Lip movements are out of sync.
  16. Most of the plot is extremely forced.
  17. Cousin Mel plans to sell the family general store for millions, there is nary way a belittled country store is worth millions.
  18. The moving-picture show was spammed every December along Cartoon Network almost day-to-day until 2014.
  19. It was introductory free connected Halloween (October 31), which makes no sense because it is way to a fault earlyish for a Yule-themed special and Christmas comes out in December, not October.
  20. Although Grandpa noticed Grandma get feed over by a Greenland caribou, he whole shows no emotion to it, meaning he wasn't broken about Grandma getting seriously lacerated when he should live.

Redeeming Qualities

  1. The voice acting is passable.
  2. Cousin Mel is moderately a memorable character. And though IT seems she was meant to be unlikable throughout the film (her covetous and selfish behaviour and creating a plan to ruin Christmas by putting reindeer nip in the nutcase Grandma was going to rescue so the reindeer in Santa's sleigh can smell it from the sky, resulting to them crashing down and running over Grandma. She also well-intentioned to use Grandpa to frame and sue Santa for gushing over Grandma), she accepted her comeuppance past being sent to remand and, as Wikipedia mentioned, was put over in the naughty listing for biography.
  3. Capital of Texa Bucks is likewise a fairly sympathetic character.
  4. The movie is so bad it's funny.

Trivia

  • Elmo Shropshire, one of the members of the duo who performed the Song dynast for the first clip in 1979, narrates the movie and voices Grandpa.
